Tactical Questions.

What each child needs each day.


Daily: QCMS Book bag

Fall: Jacket, Sunscreen, and Two-Set of Clothes (Pre-Primary Students).

Winter: Coat, Gloves, Hat, Snow Pants and Snow Boots.

Spring: Jacket, Sunscreen, and One-Set of Clothes (Pre-Primary Students).

Summer: Sunscreen, Hats recommended but not required, and Two-Set of Clothes (Pre-Primary Students).

Note: All seasons must have closed toed shoes including sandals.
 

Getting your child(ren) to school

Drop off starts at 8:45 a.m. and ends at 9:00 a.m. for the Pre-Primary.
Drop off starts at 8:10 a.m. and ends at 8:20 a.m. for the Elementary.
As an added courtesy, an assistant or teacher will be at the main entrance to greet each child and get them to their respective classroom which means many times the parent or grandparent will not get out of their car.  If a parent chooses to walk their child to class they MUST park their car in the parking spaces and may not remain in the drop-off line.

 

Getting your child(ren) from school
Pick-up for morning session is at 11:45 a.m. Pre-Primary.
Pick-up for afternoon and full-day is at 3:00 p.m. Pre-Primary.

Pick-up is at 3:10 p.m. for Elementary.
 

Extended Day
 If you are taking advantage of the Montessori Care Extended Day Program, it is available on all regular school days and is for use before and/or after their normal classes.   Extended Day Programs are only available on days that the student attends class.
On Time Drop Off and Departure!
Early drop-off before school begins at 7:30 a.m.  The after school extended day begins at the end of the school day and ends at 5:30 p.m. and out of respect for the teachers and staff we ask that children are picked up promptly by  5:30.  There is a $15.00 late fee for the first minute and $1 for each additional minute.
 

Your child(ren) financial statement.

You will receive a statement monthly to reflect the current choices and charges which can include tuition, hot lunch program and extended day fees.
 

Classrooms

At QCMS the age groupings are as follows:
Toddlers—2 to 3 years
Pre-Primary—3 to 6 years
Lower Elementary —6 to 9 years (1st, 2nd and 3rd grades)
Upper Elementary —9 to 12 years (4th, 5th and 6th grades)
